Anti-Slavery and Anti-Bribery Policy
Purpose
This policy sets out our commitment to conducting business ethically, transparently, and in line with the values expected of organisations moving toward B Corp certification. We oppose all forms of modern slavery, forced labour, human trafficking, and bribery. We expect the same high standards from all our employees, contractors, suppliers, and partners.
Scope
This policy applies to all individuals working for or on behalf of our business, including employees, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders in our value chain.
Commitment to Preventing Slavery and Human Trafficking
We are committed to acting with integrity in our business dealings and ensuring that there is no slavery, forced labour, or human trafficking in our operations or supply chains.
- We will conduct due diligence on suppliers and partners to identify, prevent, and address potential risks.
- We require all suppliers to comply with applicable labour laws, including fair wages, safe working conditions, and the prohibition of forced or child labour.
- We will investigate any allegations of modern slavery promptly and take corrective action, including termination of relationships where necessary.
- Training and awareness will be provided to staff to help them recognise and report concerns.
Commitment to Preventing Bribery and Corruption
We take a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption. Bribery includes offering, giving, requesting, or accepting anything of value to influence the actions of another party.
- Employees and representatives must not offer, promise, give, request, or accept bribes or improper payments.
- All business entertainment and gifts must be reasonable, transparent, and recorded.
- We will not tolerate facilitation payments or kickbacks of any kind.
- All suspected cases of bribery or corruption will be investigated and may result in disciplinary action or legal proceedings.
Reporting Concerns
If you become aware of any potential violations of this policy, you are encouraged to report them immediately. Reports can be made confidentially, and we are committed to protecting whistleblowers from retaliation.
Review and Updates
This policy will be reviewed regularly and updated as necessary to reflect changes in legislation, best practices, and our business operations.
